• Contact your local shelter to see if they have any needs for volunteers.
• You can also peruse the San Francisco Department of Public Health's Domestic Violence Resource list for other area organizations for which to volunteer.

Outside of San Francisco/General

• Publish an article for your patients in your health center newsletter.
• When there is an IPV-related homicide in your community, you can use this sample letter to the editor or an opinion editorial to publish in your local newspaper. They were written by the Family Violence Prevention Fund for your use.
• Donate:
  LEAP (Look to End Abuse Permanently) provides resources, trainings, and consultation in clinics and health care centers throughout San Francisco to improve the health care response to IPV. LEAP’s website and materials are used nationally to teach healthcare providers to prevent and treat IPV. Help support this website and our other programs by donating to LEAP.
